Michael McDowell, George Romero, Stephen King and Arthur Conan Doyle present a terrifying anthology of fear with 1990’s TALES FROM THE DARKSIDE: THE MOVIE—which is coming to Blu-ray this Summer! Details we have currently are as follows:

    • National street date for North America (Region A) is 6/30/2020

    • This is being presented as a Collector’s Edition release and will come guaranteed with a slipcover in its first three months of release.

    • The newly commissioned artwork you see pictured comes to us from artist Laz Marquez. This art will be front-facing and the reverse side of the wrap will feature the original theatrical artwork.

    • New extras are in progress and will be announced on a later date (May timing).

Swim for your life this Summer as ORCA comes hunting on Blu-ray for the first time in North America!

Sleek, intelligent, beautiful ... and hell-bent on revenge. Producer Dino De Laurentiis (King Kong, Ragtime) and director Michael Anderson (Around The World In 80 Days, Logan's Run) join forces to present the rousing action-adventure tale of ORCA. It's the story of one powerful being against another: a strong, determined fisherman (Richard Harris, Unforgiven) versus an equally determined killer whale. When the giant whale's pregnant mate is maimed and killed by Harris, the whale seeks vengeance: smashing boats, attacking a seacoast village, and eventually luring his human adversaries to a final confrontation in the marine creature's own arctic turf. Charlotte Rampling, Will Sampson, and Bo Derek (in her feature film debut) also star in this seafaring epic brimming with nail-biting suspense and spectacular special effects.

Street date: 6/30/2020. Extras are in progress and will be announced on a later date. There's a reverse cover with alternate theatrical art too! Pre-order links coming soon on shoutfactory.com and other fine online retailers.

    • New extras are in progress and will be announced on a later date (May timing).

“It’s Dark, Clever, Nasty as Hell.” said Fangoria of 2009’s THE HILLS RUN RED. Today we announce that the underrated slasher film favorite is coming soon to Blu-ray for the first time on June 16th!

You heard the story. The one about the goriest, bloodiest splatter flick ever, the one made in the '80s but mysteriously lost. Flash forward to now: Young cinema buffs search for the secret location where the movie was shot, hoping to find the film. What they find is that the goriest, bloodiest splatter flick ever is more than a movie. It's real. And it's happening to them. THE HILLS RUD RED vaults into a whole new level of horror as the terrified interlopers confront a demented killer who covers his hacked-up face with a baby doll mask. Wait, Babyface is just a character from the movie, right? Wrong. He's alive. He's waiting. He's thrilled to meet fans who will die – slowly, gruesomely, shockingly – for his art.

Extras are in progress and will be announced on a later date. Pre-order links coming soon on shoutfactory.com and other fine online retailers.

It's more of a hopeful dream at the moment. Especially with Shout having Paramount rights currently from what I've been hearing.

Do they even manufacture 3D tvs anymore? I used to be interested in this but it seems to have been phased out. I'd love to be able to watch Part 3 in proper 3D.

You're not the only person who thinks that. ;)

I wouldn't be surprised if now is the time.

If they did release a Friday the 13th set. I'll tell you right now, it's got to be complete. And when I say complete, I mean COMPLETE. Everything everyone has been asking for all the movies, uncut, etc...

Because if it's not. It's just a waste of time imho. The Friday the 13th films have been released several times already across every media. We don't need a rehash.

Exactly; all 12 films with 4K restorations featuring both uncut and R-Rated theatrical versions, loaded to the brim with extras.

I don't have Jason goes to hell uncut or Jason x on blu I'd like those. But I have the 8 film blu set, there's a lot of really good extras on there. The only way I'm stumping up cash for 2 to 8 again is in uncut form, no other way.

Sadly we’re likely never getting the uncut versions of the first 8 movies (with the exception of part 1). When they made the deluxe edition DVDs in the late 2000s, the guys working on the extras were given full access to Paramount’s vaults and Michael Felsher said they scoured the place. They found deleted scenes, outtakes and the alternate ending to part 4, but the actual gore trims were nowhere to be found. It seems more and more likely that Paramount scrapped them back in the day, as sad as that sounds. I don’t ever expect to see the uncut versions of F13 parts 2-8.

The ONLY reason we have part 1 uncut is because it was an independent production that was picked up for distribution by Paramount domestically and Warner internationally and Warner never cut the prints.

Yeah exactly. I'd love to see some more cut footage found and put back into these films but it just doesn't seem to exist. I'd be happy with a good looking set that has the original art and all the films. If they can do 4k transfers then even better. Same goes with the Nightmare On Elm St films.

I knew this before I posted and I know I will never purchase these again....... But!

You have to have hope, they found the my bloody valentine trims, From Beyond trims, they found a decent uncut interpositive of the mutilator in France for fuck sake, there is always a chance the trims are out there, as slim as it is, they could turn up in the most unexpected of places.

I've giving up on seeing any new footage from any previous Jason flick. I need a NEW Jason movie to look forward to. What's it been, 11 years now? God damn shame, I say.

I was thinking about this either late last year or early this year and it blew my mind it's been so long since a F13 movie came out. At least we have Halloween at the moment.

As much as there probably isn't a whole lot to add in terms of extras (the Crystal Lake Memories doc is pretty much the final word on the subject), it would be nice to have everything (including all previous extras, commentaries) all together in one set. Original artwork would be amazing since the art for every box set that's ever come out hasn't been great IMO. I'd certainly welcome remasters since the last 4 films are crammed onto 2 discs and it's been a decade since these movies have been remastered so 4K restorations wouldn't be out of the question.

If the rumors are true and Shout Factory has them, I'd expect an announcement this coming Friday the 13th for a summer (likely June) release.

I thought they still make or at least I was going to get a 3D projector one day. There are some good movies that were made for 3D and not just converted.
