Has anyone heard of this movie? I was wondering it was worth buying. It is now available for preorder on the EliteDisc website. Here is the description for it.

Looking for advice about an unexpected pregnancy, an innocent teenage couple wind up in a New York brothel. They accidentally set off a bizarre series of events that they’ll never forget... if they live to tell about it. Everyone in the brothel is in the wrong place at the wrong time, especially when THE SUCKLING becomes an unwanted customer.

The unconsenting girl is drugged, her baby aborted and the fetus is flushed down the toilet. The baby, exposed to toxic waste, regenerates and transforms into a very vengeful mutant. Using its umbilical cord as a deadly tentacle and its razor-sharp arms as claw-like weapons, the mutant begins to wreak absolute chaos. It transforms the house into a womb-like cocoon, surrounded by an airtight mucus membrane, from which there is no escape. The teenagers are frantically scrambling for any escape while the occupants of the brothel argue and turn on each other. With each passing hour, the minds and actions of all involved become increasingly panicked, bizarre and desperate.

THE SUCKLING has been compared to ALIEN for its claustrophobic intensity and DIE HARD for its non-stop action and heightened drama.

The conclusion of THE SUCKLING proves in a way never-before-seen that the special bond that exists between mother and her child transcends everything in its path.

He'll Always Be Mommy's Little Mutant

You know, with a title like that, this film better be good...or the critics are gonna have a field day.

Whenever advertising blurbs compare the film to other, BETTER films.......well, that is never a good sign.

    That's a great premise, though!

I have had this on DVD for years but never popped it in. Has anyone on the boards actually seen it?

I just received it in the mail earlier today. It's probably only sold out direct on their website, you can still get it from other retailers. I don't believe it was listed as being a limited release anywhere.

I saw it first years ago on cable TV somewhere, and then bought the old Elite DVD back when it first came out. There was something I've just always liked about the movie.

I just received this and Flesh Eating Mothers today from Amazon UK also. I thought they were Region Free, but the case says Region B. Haven't had a chance to try either though.

They are both definitely B "locked". The days of 88 Films being region free for most things seems to be ending.

Even their most recent Full Moon Blu-ray (Trancers III) release is "locked" though, and they never were before.

DVD only, and two releases. Elite put it out in 2005 and FilmRise put it out, remastered apparently, as a DVD-R available only on Amazon in 2013.

Watched the 88 Films BD last night. 16 mm, so it's rough. And rough even by 16mm standards. The first 30 minutes are painful.

Then it kind of takes itself more seriously and actually becomes a lot of fun. Dark fun, but fun.

Definitely a rough, spotty Hennenlotter vibe.
