I saw these limited Suspiria posters yesterday by Dan Mumford.

They are beautiful and what finally made me see the movie. Yes, I've never seen Suspiria before today. I'll have a review for next week or sooner. But I will say I got the poster. That should say how much I liked the movie.

Really got no more space for posters but I have this limited edition Taxi Driver poster up now and it's the same size as the Suspiria print, so if nothing else I can always just swap them over every few months or something. :D

Thanks again for mentioning this, makes a change to be able to order one of these limited edition prints before they're all gone and the re-sellers add their usual markup.

The red one for me too. Someone posted that introduction cab image on a forum. I can't remember which forum but that was the first Suspiria image I ever saw and it was really freaky. I'm going to display the poster during Halloween. Maybe more if I can find a good spot.

Do they only print these limited edition posters once they're all sold on pre-order or something?

Three weeks ago it was showing "The print will be dispatched in 3 weeks", now it's saying 2 weeks.

I moved a "The Shining" poster to replace another Suspiria poster, so got a space on my wall just waiting for this one now. :)

I think most of these companies use the same printers. So we have to wait most of the time. Then they have to get the artist in to sign them. I don't think I've ever ordered a screen print and had it immediately ship. I'm surprised that it hasn't sold out yet. Probably because they are in the UK and not Mondo cut a lot of the normal screen print buyers out.

I like it but I wish it wasn't so spoiler-ish.

That is to say if a friend saw the poster on my wall and said, "Haven't seen it but that looks awesome! Can we watch it?" Something of that McGuffin would be spoiled. They'd probably spend the whole movie thinking, "That's nice, but when's she going to go through the freaking hidden door!?!"

That's true. But still that image is what finally made me see the movie. I wanted to know what was behind the door. And I thought it was cool how the door was hidden in that image.

These posters in many ways are for people that have already seen the movies. As complements for them. Many of them don't have credits. Some aren't even official even though this Suspiria one is.

The one thing I don't like about this one is that the "Suspiria" text isn't the original logo, which makes me think this isn't an "official" poster.

There are some great "fan made" posters around though, yeah, I have this one up already:
