They do work really well, but even then it's good to pad them with plastic bags to retain the overall shape. Usually they sit pretty loosely on those heads. That being said, I've still had some masks start to deteriorate. When that happens it's a good idea to foam fill them if you get to them in time and use it as a display piece. Alternatively there's guys out there who can patch up a lot of these issues when they arise but it's often $$$. I currently have a Jason one I had to foam fill and need to find the time to address the problem areas so I can put the hock back on it and dress it up. Adult life!
