  1. I enjoyed this movie. Sure, there's better movies out there, but this one is nowhere as bad as most of them.

That's some good news Vlachio. I'll be picking that double feature up. That company has put out some other cool double features recently. I like their cover art.

I'll be picking this up. The DVD-R rip I made from my old VHS isn't the best print.

Looks like I'll be throwing my VHS up on ebay right away.

In a pefect world, MORTUARY or FUNERAL HOME would be the second feature on the upcoming DVD instead of Blood Song. ;)

I'll be getting it - if only for LaWanda Page's "feets don't fail me now" role. :)

Agreed - we could have done better than Blood Song in many ways. I already have the Brentwood release and I'm not sure I really care about an upgrade to that.

Now that's a kickass double feature. Blood Song has been asking for it for too long - another rare slasher off the checklist. No where's Bloodbeat?

Ya know, I've never actually seen this as far as I can recall, but all this talk of demon tits is getting me pretty stoked for it. I'll pick it up if the price is right.:D

Some good news as well - there's going to be a commentary with Bobbie Bresee on the Mausoleum feature. Now where's our Frankie Avalon commentary?

It kind of sucks, but is really representative of the slasher formula. Hits all the marks, from bad synth to the traumatic childhood incident that fuels all the straightforward murders. The only real bit of originality is the killer playing his little tune before the murders, but that's more funny than anything else. Still, if you like slashers at all, it's a worthwhile watch, it's just not standout. Kind of like HE KNOWS YOU'RE ALONE or SILENT MADNESS.

I remember renting the Mausoleum VHS from the 99 cent video rental store as a kid. I don't remember too much of the movie, other than I found it really boring but I always remembered the name.
