Friday the 13th novelizations...(Anyone read any of them?)

  1. I'm not sure when it originally came out in the 80s, but I've read the one for Part 3. This was a good 7-8 years ago or so. I really liked it.

I have a copy of Jason Lives. I love these novelizations. I've also got Halloween, and Halloween III. I did have Part 2, but have no idea what happened to it. I recently went on a spree and bought a ton of 'em at some used book stores.

I'm not a real huge reader, but you can normally get through these books in a little over a day.

    Fun reads for sure.

Man oh man, I read the Hell Lake one and it was bad. They shot Jason in the asshole. On purpose.

I guess that the book was such a joke they wanted a rim shot.

I'm reading a Nightmare On Elm Street one, I forget what it's called but it involves some virtual reality game that Freddy can come into. I'm about 50 pages in and yawning a bit...

So, I already have the 4 book Eric Morse Friday The 13th YA series, which I loved. I also have all 3 of Kelly O'Rourke's Halloween YA series, which I also love, especially The Old Myers Place.

However, I never really bothered with the novelizations. I figured they're the same as the movies. The only one I owned is Halloween III, which I found at a used book store for 50 cents some years ago.

A friend decided it's time to scale back his collection, which is sad, but he sent me these for free, along with a few VHS.

    Nice to finally have these.

I have all of those except for Friday part 2. That one is worth a LOT and incredibly rare. Amazing haul. I enjoyed reading all of them too.
