... from the director of SPAWN
Gets my vote for cheesiest title of the year!
Not much info about this film yet ... but I doubt it will be any good.
I mean, with a title like that? :D

That cover looks somewhat almost kinda cool but I dunno. I like water monsters... might give her a look. :)

Wow that may be the dumbest title for a movie I have ever heard. However I do want to see this movie. Anything that includes giant fish is okay with me.

My guess is that "Bayou" doesn't really communicate the sheer terror of...Frankenfish.
The scariest thing about this is that I'll probably end up picking it up...

That's good to know that it will be on tv soon. I'll definetly have to watch it. It looks like a cool movie, but I'm not quite interested enough for a blind buy.

When that girl said she figured out a way to get away, and then the gun went off and shot her, my sister says "Yeah, I just remembered, the boats are docked against the shore. We can just walk 10 feet to safety."

I had beer coming out my nose.

I didn't catch the Sci-Fi airing but was able to watch the DVD last night.
Oddly enough, I enjoyed it. The title works to its advantage, as it will keep anyone from taking it seriously before they've pressed PLAY MOVIE. CGI is not my favorite thing in the world, so to see it used so poorly on such a goofy idea was actually quite fun. I don't usually watch TV but this seemed pretty graphic in parts so I doubt that the Sci-Fi version contained all the gore.
Yes it's silly, uneven, a little annoying, and slightly retarded--but it's perfect for those MST3K nights with a few friends a more than a few drinks.
    Worth a rental.

I wondered what happened to the director of Spawn. I'll have to grab this...can't be as cheesy as Shark Attack 3 which was hysterical.

  13. This was a good movie. Will pick up the dvd if it's cheap enough.

Unbelievably, I stumbled upon this for next to nothing in a store yesterday - and picked it up. After watching Tokyo Psycho and hating that, this was actually a beth of fresh air. It's dumb and fun - actually I can confirm everything written in this thread. The CGI is awful - but does it matter for something like this? It's Anaconda - without the Anaconda.

    Not too bad.
