Oh come on that's ridiculous you don't mean that.

How is it their fault that the US rights are held by a different company? Just get the UK set.

I think Warner Archives had mentioned within the past couple years that their rights had lapsed. It's not entirely clear to whom the US rights would have reverted to.

Can't wait to get this House set! Always wanted that complete collection from ABUK, but it always fetched high prices. I'm mostly excited for the inclusion of an uncut Horror Show (Scream didn't even bother to find that version. Lazy bastards.) and part 4.

I've read that the producer is sitting on that title expecting a company to shell out a fortune to release that gem on DVD/Blu-ray.

Or Diabolik. But yeah, Amazon is usually my go to for any Arrow limited editions. They haven't let me down yet.

Deep Discount is the absolute worse when it comes to pre-ordering ANYTHING. Learned my lesson long ago...

I hope they release the house set as separates, I only want the horror show, being uncut as well definitely has me interested, but I don't want the set as not a fan of the others.

FamilyVideo's just as bad as DD when it comes to Limited Editions. I swear they put in their order the Monday before street date. I've missed out on both the Pieces Limited Edition and Bride of Re-Animator Limited Edition because of FV. Flat out canceled the order on me and I'm outta luck. And obviously no exclusive Re-Animator pin from Diabolik. And no puzzle because fuck you we're placing them in random cases.

So this last round I placed my order with Diabolik for both Creepshow 2 and I Drink Your Blood. Since they were on the same order they sat on I Drink Your Blood until Creepshow 2 came in to shipped them together. Nice to get Creepshow 2 early but I waited two extra weeks for I Drink Your Blood.

Only to learn Amazon knocked the price way the hell down, shipped early to Prime and included the hypo-syringe.

So I don't know... I don't mind throwing in a few extra bucks to secure such knick knacks, or waiting a little while longer to save on shipping, but now I've spent all told over 20 extra bucks and had to wait two extra weeks for the privilege. And no Creepshow 2 pin (not that I DESERVE one but a pin was in the back of my mind).

I was an early supporter of these Limited Editions but you can't keep them a secret, or under print them, and you can't under price them. And that's been a big problem all year. Grindhouse allowing Amazon.com undercutting the price that much is a fuck you to everyone else. And if you under print and people's pre-orders end up getting canceled that's a big fuck you to all those too. And then doing shit like a super secrete exclusive at one retailer no one knows about until the packages arrive is another big fuck you to everyone else too.

These distributors are being so fucking stupid about these editions and the HG Lewis exclusive cock up on his death bed is the cherry on top of this shit fest; under printed, under priced and super secret "you have one hour STARTING NOW during working hours when nobody with a life will even hear about it because we've only told a room of people." /rant

I don't even like to use Family Video on non-limited releases. The last time I preordered from them, the item didn't ship until almost a month after release date.

Neither do I. I am not going region free for what small quantity of films that don't get a U.S. release.

Two words, Licensing issues. These range from region to region.

House III is currently with Shout Factory here, and House IV is probably still with Warner.

You can also get better quality releases of a lot of films from outside of the U.S. Being region-free really means having no restrictions and worries, and you can get a good region-free player very cheaply now.

I'll definitely import the U.K. House set. ;)
